Laurie leads AgencyQ's human-centered design team and is responsible for working with clients to uncover opportunities and develop solutions that help businesses and organizations better connect with their customers.

Laurie leads user experience and design on projects from start to finish - from research and discovery to ideation and design to development and delivery. During discovery, she determines, designs, and conducts appropriate research activities to uncover opportunities to improve the user experience. She synthesizes discovery findings into strategic roadmaps with actionable recommendations. In the design and ideation phase, she engages her teammates and stakeholders in order to develop solutions that are innovative and feasible. She engages users to test solutions and improve designs. In development, she ensures that solutions are built as designed and function as intended. Throughout, she is a fierce advocate for the user and makes sure to keep teams focused on both user needs and business goals.

Laurie defaults to a collaborative process, engaging team members, stakeholders, and users to create the best solutions for everyone. She develops strong relationships with her clients and engages them as much as possible throughout the design process. Laurie has worked with clients across the government, healthcare, B2B, association, and nonprofit sectors. She has developed effective strategies and innovative solutions for organizations such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Defense (DoD), and others.
